TEAM CAPTAIN – NIGHT SHIFT (FOOD MANUFACTURING/BAKERY)

Location: Doraville, GA
Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Must be available for Overtime)(Some Sundays)
Pay: $20/hr base + $2/hr night shift differential (weekly pay)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Prior experience in food manufacturing, industrial bakery, or similar production environment is required.
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience (Team Lead, Captain, or Shift Supervisor role).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, heavy-lifting environment and stand for extended periods.
• Must wear slip-resistant shoes and comply with all food safety requirements.
• Willingness to undergo drug testing and background check.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a hands-on Team Captain to lead and support production operations in a high-volume industrial bakery. This is a leadership role overseeing production line staff to ensure efficiency, food safety, and quality standards are met. We will train you on first shift then transition to third shift.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate a team of bakery production employees on the night shift.
• Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure production goals and deadlines are met.
• Train new employees on safety protocols, food handling, and equipment usage.
• Monitor product quality and compliance with food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP).
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, enforcing safety and sanitation policies.
• Serve as the main point of contact for shift leads and management, escalating any production issues.
• Complete shift reports and communicate with day shift leaders to ensure smooth handoffs.
