You may be in a similar role in another accountancy practice, equally you may be outside of the accounting industry in a role that has many transferable skills.
The ideal candidate will spend time across our Blackburn and Bury sites.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE IN BRIEF:

A brand new opportunity has arisen here at PM+M to join the Cloud Accounting team as a Team Coordinator.
This is a newly created and exciting role for our firm, to directly support one of our Teams in their continued growth strategy and approach to increasing efficiencies, as well as getting involved and supporting on some day to day accounting tasks where required.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES:

Immersed in the Team itself, you will play a role in ensuring the smooth running of many of the key day-to-day operations within a team of 25 people.
You will work alongside and support senior management to organise the team’s work planner, drive efficiency in the team and facilitate communication.

You will:

  • Work closely with Cloud Accounting Managers/Directors/Partners and develop an understanding of the skills and specialisms of team members to ensure assignments are resourced appropriately at the right time by the right people.
  • Manage the team job planner, including the day-to-day logistics of a fast paced, growing team working on multiple projects at any given time.
  • Maintain oversight of ongoing work across the team (BeEye), to drive efficiency and client service.
  • Liaise with clients to arrange delivery of work at the appropriate time.
  • Review and help improve client experience and team efficiencies
  • Monitor KPIs to identify discrepancies between budgeted hours/completed hours on projects, as well as monitoring recoveries against budget.
  • Co-ordinate student exams and training including liaison with our People Team, training providers when necessary and supporting our trainees.
  • Co-ordinate team holidays to ensure deadlines are not missed due to annual leave.
  • Use our internal tools to provide timely insights on client performance to relevant portfolio holders internally.
  • Working with internal Business Support team in assisting with the onboarding of new clients.
  • Assist with key procedures in the Cloud Accounting team such as the generation of key documents and letters, ready for review,
  • Provide with procedural and operational tasks, initially developing an understanding of the tasks, progressing to working with more autonomy over time.
  • Manage the team’s filing deadlines and ensuring we keep on track
  • Finalise year end packs for sending to clients and raising monthly bills for review
  • Maintain software plans with our software partners
  • Ensure certifications for teams are kept up to date and our listings on public profiles reviewed and updated as necessary.
  • Ensure our Marketing database is kept up to date with the correct client information.
  • Organise team meetings
  • Manage cross team deadlines
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects within the team – both client facing and internally.
