Description
The Production Team Lead will lead and work alongside the Production Supervisor to ensure the team is well equipped to achieve production metrics in support of achieving the Plant High 5 goals. In this function you will: Be responsible for inspecting products for conformance by using assembly instructions, manufacturing orders and checklists at the quality level mandated by the company/product line. Lead root cause analysis for quality defects. Interface regularly with the production planner and material handlers to ensure all resources needed to meet customer commitments are available. Maintain consistent/quality production output by coordinating and assigning daily work Manage the work center production boards on an hourly basis to ensure production is meeting target output levels adjusting resources to meet business need Represent production work centers in daily production meetings as needed and highlight any issues affecting production Inform manufacturing engineering representative of an BOM inaccuracies. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school. Relocation assistance is not available for this position only candidates within a 50 mile radius of the facility will be considered. Position Criteria: Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
