This position is based at our Hodges, SC location. Hourly Rate: Starting at $21.77 and $1.00 shift premium. Provide leadership and direction of work for team, ensuring products are assembled correctly and efficiently. Manage and supervise assembly line operations, including scheduling and task assignments. Ensure that team members follow defined assembly procedures and comply with quality requirements. Provide ongoing training and support to team members to achieve high standards. Ensure all material storage is compliant with EHS guidelines. Ensure excess & obsolete material is identified, approved and disposed in timely fashion. Guide and oversee work operations to respond positively to unusual situations, changes, material shortages, and varying manpower requirements. Train new team members on procedures and safety protocols. Provide ongoing training and support to team members to achieve high standards. Address any assembly line issues and implement effective solutions. Identify business improvement opportunities and perform root cause analysis to resolve problems. Report production metrics to the supervisor or operations manager. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production processes. Responsible for overall inventory management within the facility by ensuring inventory transactions and balances are accurate and controls. Use appropriate lift assist or partner lift when moving material/products. May lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push or pull up to 100 lbs. At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment At least 1 year of leadership experience managing people. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
