Description Lead the Team Behind the Care Valley's EPIC residential treatment programs provide evidence-based care for adults facing challenges related to mental health, substance use, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. As a Team Lead, you'll support both clients and staff by overseeing daily operations, mentoring team members, and fostering a positive, collaborative environment. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who are passionate about leadership, teamwork, and helping others achieve meaningful outcomes. Job Summary & Deliverables The Team Lead performs a variety of supervisory tasks and ensures employees have the resources and training to perform their jobs successfully. The Team Lead possesses advanced knowledge and skill in their respective function and utilizes this knowledge and skill to train, coach, and supervise employees. The Team Lead actively encourages a culture of collaboration and teamwork. Supervises the daily activities and operational performance of a team in a residential or housing unit Ensures ongoing and transparent communication by holding huddles, one-to-one meetings, and the utilization of approved communication resources. Ensures communication saturation. Promotes a culture of strong performance and high morale Ensures the completion of operational goals within required timelines Provides orientation, training, and mentoring to new employees; ensures that orientation and training objectives are completed within established timeframes Trains employees to understand unit/business area plan and how each member of the team serves to ensure fulfillment Requirements Education High School diploma or equivalent Experience Six months direct care experience (required) Licenses/Certifications Case Manager Certification (post hire as needed) CPR certification (post hire as needed) Valley de-escalation certification (post hire) Driving positions require a current Utah Driver’s license, must be 21 Preferred Qualifications Associate degree, any field of study Two years of behavioral health experience One year of supervisory experience
Responsibilities
