Overview The Ambulatory Care Nurse Infusion, Lead is responsible for providing physician support and as applicable, comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families. This Ambulatory Care Nurse Infusion, Lead position works collaboratively with practice management and the Clinical Supervisor to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in the delivery of patient care services. The Ambulatory Care Nurse Infusion, Lead position will perform duties within the scope of practice, ensuring consistency with hospital and WakeMed Physician Practices policies and procedures, standards of care, standing orders and evidence-based guidelines. The Ambulatory Care Nurse Infusion, Lead position will also adhere to practice standards governed by all applicable state, federal and regulatory agencies.
