Role Overview We are seeking a Team Lead – Forklift Operations (AM Shift) to join our team in Findlay, Ohio. In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee and coordinate the daily activities of forklift operators within the warehouse. The Team Lead ensures efficient operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to motivate and mentor team members. The warehouse environment may or may not be climate-controlled. Requirements Key Responsibilities Supervise and direct forklift operators to meet daily operational targets Safely operate a forklift to move and stack lightweight cans and materials Monitor and enforce safety protocols and compliance with company standards Conduct daily equipment inspections and oversee adherence to maintenance schedules Assist with general warehouse tasks to ensure workflow efficiency Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to forklift operators Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to address operational challenges and implement improvements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Ensure accurate reporting and tracking of inventory and task completion Verify trailers and equipment are safe prior to loading Complete shipping documentation and system transactions to ensure inventory accuracy Communicate effectively with clients, drivers, and guests Qualifications Minimum 3 years of forklift operation experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role Valid driver’s license and forklift certification required Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards Ability to lift 50–75 pounds regularly and work in varying temperature conditions Strong communication skills to interact with team members and management Experience with inventory management systems (or willingness to learn)
