This position is based at our Broomfield, CO facility. We offer skilled candidates a pay range of $27-31 per hour with pay progressions annually and opportunities for advancement. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. You will work with other members of the production team and maintain a level of productivity that supports the Master Schedule. While reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will interface with other functions such as Quality, Engineering, and Purchasing. This role will serve as a working team leader. Ability to train employees in cabinet core competencies including crimp, solder, wire management, and reading of wiring schematics/engineering drawings. Perform quality checks, testing, and able to provide technical feedback to team members. Exemplify in-depth knowledge of Value Stream Map (VSM) and communicate daily escalations as appropriate to production lead and supervisor. Manage product flow and impact of changes up/down stream for priorities. Manage the flow of day-to-day cabinet operations. Assign tasks to team members. Elevate departmental concerns to direct supervisor. Completion of confirmations in SAP. Provide feedback and input to be used in Skills Progression Process for employees. Participate in and promote the use of continuous improvement and lean tools. Must have a High school diploma or G.E.D from an accredited institution Must have two years of experience in electrical/mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Five years of experience in electrical or mechanical assembly work in a manufacturing setting. Two years prior leadership experience in a manufacturing setting. Ability to regularly lift to 40 pounds, as well as utilize power lifting mechanisms for heavy objects. Ability to stand for up to 9 hours per day, kneel, stoop, squat; in addition to use arms, hands, and fingers to inspect objects, tools, and controls Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections upon completion of certain assembly process steps, as well as on incoming component parts Ability to read schematics, one-line diagrams, blue prints and other manufacturing documentation Attention to detail. Willingness to learn Self-motivation Ability to work independently and with others.
