Job Description: Primary responsibilities are to lead and manage project team members at a job site; develop and mentor the team through planning and execution of tasks; monitor and reinforce company guidelines, policies, and procedures and; ensure safety of team, client, and property. Job site activities may include any or all of the following: Sorting and organizing client’s household contents in preparation for selling, donation or disposal Setup for an Online Auction or in-person Estate Sale Conducting an orderly Estate Sale or Auction Pickup Packing clothing, décor objects, and personal items in preparation for a move Unpacking at the destination location; putting away personal items, hanging artwork, connecting electronics Coordinating and overseeing hauling and donation pickups Driving a van or truck Loading/unloading donations, furniture or trash Roles and Responsibilities: Lead and manage work activity at a job site; ensure adherence to budgeted labor hours Ensure equipment and supplies reach each job site, are properly maintained, and returned to secured location Report incidents and/or accidents to management in a timely manner Monitor/reinforce safety procedures Communicate updates to clients, team and management Manage immediate employee concerns or disciplinary needs per Company policy Notify and assist management with ongoing or employee issues or disciplinary action Ensure team member hours are reported to management for payroll in a timely manner Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or Associate degree, or 4 years professional work experience 2 years supervisory experience Available to be on-site most weekdays & occasional Saturdays 7:45am-4pm Lead and manage a team of 1 to 4 people in a fast-paced and unique work environment Problem solving and decision-making skills Customer service, organizational, written, verbal and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, or Google Docs equivalent apps Must be able to lift and move 30 pounds Must be able to walk up and down stairs with ease Must be able to stand and work for long periods of time Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable car Comfortable with a part-time, flexible schedule (no guarantee of hours/week) Capable of working in cluttered, dusty or dirty environments (PPE is provided), and varying weather conditions A computer and a smart phone for scheduling, time-keeping & project management apps Benefits: Make a difference in the lives of local families and communities Learn while you earn - every day and every project is different Be part of a supportive and encouraging professional team Feel connected with other people who value your work Enjoy a flexible schedule so you can balance your life and support your health & well-being Financial incentives available Local candidates only We serve the following communities: Great Neck, Great Neck Estates, Great Neck Plaza, Bellerose, Bellerose Manor, Douglaston, Floral Park, Glen Oaks, Harbor Hills, Horace Harding, Kensington, Kings Point, Little Neck, Oakland Gardens, Queens Village, Russell Gardens, Saddle Rock, Saddle Rock Estates, Thomaston, Allenwood, Bay Terrace, Bayside.
