About the Role BDO is seeking a Team Leader – Cloud & Networking Operations to lead the day‑to‑day operational management of our cloud and national network environments. Reporting to the Manager of Cloud Operations, this role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security and reliability of BDO’s hybrid cloud platforms and office connectivity. You’ll lead a team responsible for run‑state operations across Azure and network services, providing strong operational leadership, clear escalation pathways and disciplined adherence to defined patterns, runbooks and Zero Trust controls. This is a hands‑on leadership role at the heart of BDO’s technology operations. About the Team The Cloud & Network Operations team sits within BDO’s Shared Services Technology function and plays a critical role in keeping the firm connected and secure. Working closely with Cloud Engineering, Security, Data Services and Workplace teams, the group focuses on operational excellence, service quality and continuous improvement across cloud and network services. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate Cloud Operations staff supporting Azure and network environments Oversee day‑to‑day run‑state activities including patching, monitoring, backups, identity operations and incident response Manage operational workloads, on‑call arrangements and service queues Ensure adherence to runbooks, change processes, governance standards and Zero Trust principles Oversee network operations across WAN, LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN and connectivity services Coordinate major incidents, escalations and post‑incident reviews Drive continuous improvement, automation opportunities and operational maturity Qualifications, Experience and Skills Tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent experience ITIL v4 Foundation certification (essential) Experience leading or coordinating cloud or infrastructure operations teams Strong hands‑on experience with Azure operations and enterprise network environments Solid understanding of security, identity and operational governance Clear communicator with a calm, structured approach to incident management Why BDO?
