FORMAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Grade 12/Matric with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in Logistics, Customer Services, or a related field.
  • Certified Supply Chain Certification (CSCP) or equivalent qualification is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

As the Team Lead: Customer Support & Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of Radiometer’s life-saving diagnostic solutions while upholding Danaher’s unwavering commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership in Logistics & Customer Support: Lead and optimize logistics and customer support operations, ensuring alignment with Radiometer’s mission to deliver rapid, reliable diagnostic solutions and Danaher’s global standards for operational excellence.
  • End-to-End Warehouse Management: Oversee the entire logistics process, from stock receipt to dispatch or disposal, leveraging Danaher Business System (DBS) principles to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Inventory Procurement & Optimization: Manage procurement from local and international suppliers, maintaining optimal stock levels to support Radiometer’s high-demand diagnostic products and Danaher’s commitment to supply chain resilience.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Supervise the receipt, inspection, and quality assurance of stock, ensuring compliance with Radiometer’s stringent regulatory standards, ISO certifications, and Danaher’s operational excellence framework.
  • Inventory Control & Integrity: Implement and enforce best-in-class inventory control practices, including FIFO, expiry date tracking, and batch control, to safeguard the integrity of Radiometer’s diagnostic solutions and uphold Danaher’s reputation for quality.
  • Customer Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders, stock placements, and credit notes with precision and speed, ensuring Radiometer’s commitment to delivering life-saving diagnostics is met with exceptional service.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously assess and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance logistics efficiency, leveraging Danaher’s DBS tools to drive innovation and operational excellence.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Resolve customer service claims promptly and effectively, ensuring Radiometer’s customer-first approach and Danaher’s brand reputation for reliability and trustworthiness are upheld.
  • Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Good Distribution Practices (GDPs), ISO standards, and Danaher’s regulatory framework, preventing non-compliant or damaged products from entering the supply chain.
  • Data Integrity & Analytics: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain real-time ERP system updates, aligning with Danaher’s data-driven approach to inventory management and decision-making.
  • Lean Operations: Maintain a structured and organized work environment, adhering to Danaher’s 5S principles to maximize efficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Global Collaboration: Collaborate with Radiometer’s global logistics and supply chain teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across customer service, warehousing, and procurement functions.
  • Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Address supplier back-order queries and audit courier freight invoices, ensuring supply chain continuity and compliance with Danaher’s financial oversight protocols.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent and proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring Radiometer’s high service standards are consistently met across global markets.
