Description
Perform regular 5S and SOP audits to uphold workplace organization and procedural compliance. Identify defects in Work-In-Progress (WIP) materials, document findings, and escalate to the Quality Manager. Ensure daily production rotations and employee breaks are executed per company policy. Work closely with the Production Supervisor to determine staffing schedules and allocate overtime as needed. Facilitate smooth shift transitions by updating the upcoming shift and maintaining clear communication to minimize delays. Document hour-by-hour production for large pack operations and perform quality inspections per QA guidelines. Demonstrate strong knowledge of raw materials, sub-components, and general manufacturing processes to support efficient operations. Exhibit working proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Lead small teams independently to meet production and quality goals, escalating issues to the supervisor as needed. High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution. A minimum of 1 year lead production experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. 1 + years experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to learn and apply manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures. Ability to understand detailed written and/or oral instructions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on quality and safety.
