• Responsible for the product system architecture, electrical & electronics design and embedded software development of Mobility platforms.

Primary role

• Play a significant role in the overall product design and development roadmap, specifically in Electrical and Electronics, along with the System Solutions.
• An interest in developing best practice knowledge and skills within the EE field of responsibility.

Principal Accountabilities

• Responsible for the team development of electrical engineers and designers and workload scheduling.
• Anticipate and Identify necessary technical skills required in upcoming projects and opportunities. Plan training and ensure team is adequately trained in time to close the competency gap.
• Align and optimize process and milestone deliverables for EE discipline.
• Works closely with Project Manager on work package, scope, efforts, deliverables and duration for each project.
• Align and understand projects’ goals and considerations, and include unscheduled compromises to be made between timeline, quality and budget.
• Gel and link between Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Experience of presenting to Customers.

Skills and Knowledge

• More than 5 years of system engineering experience.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
• Deep knowledge of business and manufacturing processes experience.
• Knowledge of working with electrical, mechanical and software architecture.
• Knowledge of Basic microcontroller programming, PCB design, PLC, power electronics, wireless communication, motors and actuators.
• Knowledge of PLM software, ERP Systems, and Product Change Control processes.
• Knowledge of Singapore electrical safety regulations and MIL-STD.
• Knowledge of electrical high voltage switchgear and high-power DC rectification.
• Knowledge of UPS systems and operations.
• Experience in computer-aided drafting and design with Solidworks and Altium.
• Involvement in Continual Improvement Initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S).

Academic Background

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering or related field of expertise.
• Basic command of one or more languages spoken in SEA region.
