Your tasks

• Responsible for the further development of microservices and self-contained systems in a complex e-banking environment.
• Designing and implementing demanding banking requirements in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Ensuring high-quality, stable and secure software development as well as smooth operation
• Optimizing the collaboration between development, testing, operations, and monitoring with an end-to-end perspective
• Creating and reviewing solution architectures for new requirements, taking into account security, performance, and scalability.
• Contributing new technical and methodological impulses to further develop the team and products.
• Coaching and supporting the developers in the team, as well as promoting best practices such as Clean Code, TDD, CI/CD and Observability.

Your profile

• Completed studies (university, university of applied sciences, higher technical college) in the field of (business) informatics or comparable training
• Several years of experience in software development with a focus on Java and Angular-based web applications.
• Excellent knowledge of Java, Angular, Spring (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Security), JPA, and the Oracle and PostgreSQL databases; Kotlin is a plus.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes in the development, deployment, operation, and troubleshooting of production services
• Practical experience in the software architecture of internet-exposed services (e.g., security, scaling, resilience, API design, and observability approaches)
• Team- and customer-oriented personality with high self-motivation, sense of responsibility and social skills
• Enjoyment of taking on responsibility and acting as a technical contact person in the team.
• Excellent German skills; English skills are a plus.
