What you’ll do: Contribute to the design and implementation of network automation and monitoring projects Liaise between the customer, stakeholders and infrastructure to provide innovative solutions for ASX Customers (internal and external) Contributing to procedural documentation and knowledge base as required. Managing NOC team. Management of Network Infrastructure including Monitoring and Capacity Planning. Improve on productivity and ensure all of processes are being reviewed to ensure efficiency Responding to incoming support incidents in a timely manner. Worked with Network monitoring tools and developed metrics for network availability and capacity Can develop and implement network management platform using commercial and open source tools. Responding to incoming support incidents in a timely manner. Resolve incidents, problems and change requests to required service level targets What you’ve done: Understand IT service management framework (ITIL, FCAPS, etc.) Intermediate to Advanced scripting skills for network automation, API Integration, log analysis, Python, Bash scripting, Ansible etc. Intermediate to Advanced Linux skills Basic knowledge in Networking vendor and standard technologies. For example, Arista, Cisco, Cumulus, F5, Palo Alto, BGP, OSPF etc. Knowledge and experience in vendor and open source tools related with network management. For example, Solarwinds, Arista CVP, Grafana, Graylog etc. Understand and knowledge configuring IP SLA, SNMP, Netflow etc. Network documentation skills Strong influencing and negotiating skills Excellent customer service skills And if you’ve got some of this, even better: Understanding of Security in Networking Knowledge and support of operating systems – Windows / Linux Container environments (e.g. Docker/Podman) • Virtualise environments (e.g. VMware ESXi) Vendor certifications CCNP / CCIE, F5, Palo Alto, GCP, AWS, etc. • Experience working with Layer 1 and optical network technologies Tertiary degree in computer science/engineering/telecommunications. Responsibilities
The Team Lead will contribute to network automation and monitoring projects, liaise between customers and infrastructure for innovative solutions, and manage the NOC team, including infrastructure monitoring and capacity planning. Responsibilities also involve improving process efficiency and responding to support incidents within service level targets.
