En tant qu’estimateur trice expérimenté e au sein de la division Grands Projets de Pomerleau, vous contribuerez à la croissance des nouveaux projets ainsi qu’à celle des projets en cours, tout en repoussant les normes de l’industrie grâce à votre expertise et votre connaissance approfondie du métier.
Travaillant sur des projets de construction de grande envergure — allant de 1,5 million à plus d’un milliard de dollars — vous collaborerez étroitement avec notre équipe de soumissions et divers groupes de clients afin d’obtenir les meilleures propositions et d’assurer le succès du projet.
What You Will Do
Contribute actively to the bidding process for large-scale construction projects;
Identify project-specific costs related to labor, equipment, and materials;
Accurately interpret technical specifications with strong attention to detail;
Perform thorough quantity take-offs to ensure accuracy in contract specifications and pricing;
Focus on client pricing requirements to ensure project feasibility;
Maintain strong relationships with business partners, consultants, and clients to achieve project goals;
Explore innovative solutions and opportunities based on project parameters.
This Role Could Be for You If You Have:
5 to 10 years of relevant experience in construction estimating;
A university degree, graduate diploma, or certificate in engineering or construction management, or a combination of education and industry experience;
Experience in project coordination and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams;
A background in developing relationships with project and industry stakeholders;
A deep understanding of the bidding process;
Strong research skills to identify and analyze project-specific costs;
Expertise in quantity take-offs to ensure accuracy in contract specifications and pricing;
Strong computer skills, especially with estimating software.
