Job Title: Team Lead, Family Support Services
Status: Temporary Full-time (1-year contract)
Hours: 35 hours/week (70 hours bi-weekly)
Pay Scale: $31.825/hr - $37.44/hr

JOB SUMMARY:
The Team Lead of Family Support Services is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and operations of LHIN Early Years and Early ON Child and Family Centre funded programs and services. The Team Lead will oversee a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including Registered Early Childhood Educators, Nurse/IBCLC, Dietician, and Social Worker.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education, bachelor’s degree or equivalent and education.
- Registered and in good standing with College of Early Childhood Education.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Three to five years relevant experience, preferably in the Early Years/Family Support sector.
- A minimum three years management experience.
- Experience with program development/management.
- Experience and sensitivity working with all families including those in an urban core setting, culturally diverse, racialized, 2SGLBTQIA+, young parents, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years; How Does Learning Happen
- Extensive knowledge of community resources.

- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Negative Police Record Check – Vulnerable Sector current in the last 6 months

- Based on New Avenues Linguistics Rating Scale: A+ (highest skill) to C- (lowest skill)
