Responsibilities
  • You have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements specific to the financial services industry.
  • You ensure that IT systems and processes comply with relevant regulations, such as data protection, privacy, and financial reporting standards, with a particular emphasis on SAP Finance compliance.
  • You oversee the preparation and execution of financial audits within the IT department.
  • You work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with auditing standards, address audit findings, and implement necessary controls and improvements.
  • You are responsible for managing vendor and supplier relationships within the IT department. You evaluate vendor capabilities, negotiate contracts, and monitor service level agreements to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products to support the organization’s financial operations.
  • You possess deep expertise in SAP Finance and its applications within the financial services industry. You lead the planning, implementation, and management of SAP Finance projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with the organization’s financial processes, reporting requirements, and strategic goals.
  • You contribute to the organization’s risk management efforts by identifying IT-related risks, assessing their potential impact on financial operations, and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies and controls. You work closely with the CFO and other stakeholders to ensure risk management practices align with the organization’s risk appetite.
  • You participate in strategic planning exercises, providing insights and recommendations on IT initiatives that support the CFO’s objectives. You collaborate with the finance department to identify opportunities for leveraging technology, particularly SAP Finance, to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
