Overview

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Requires experience in a customer service function; with a minimum of one year experience working with the public.
  • Requires Serve Safe Food Protection Manager Certification (FPMC) or successfully obtain the certification within 6 months in the position.
  • Requires knowledge of, or ability to learn diet therapy, as it applies to food selection and modified diet adherence.
  • Requires the ability to use computer (desktop/laptop/tablet) and cell phones.

Responsibilities
  • Track and support the completion temperature logs and tray accuracy reports.
  • Supervise the time of patient tray delivery to ensure timely service.
  • Complete daily walk throughs of the tray line and walk-in refrigerators to ensure proper labeling and rotation practices, and discard any expired items.
  • Supervise completion of staff duties.
  • Complete food prep for outages as needed.
  • Enforce hand hygiene protocols, cleaning and sanitation protocols, and other food safety protocols.
  • Support the tasting, preparation, and training of the monthly special menu.
