Description
As a Team Lead, you'll play a key role in driving daily production operations, supporting your team, and ensuring delivery goals are met. You'll serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting, lead daily management efforts, and foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with planning and management to develop and adjust production schedules. Attend daily Tier 1 meetings and communicate shift updates effectively. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), identify top issues, and delegate action items. Troubleshoot production issues and escalate when necessary. Ensure equipment is calibrated and operating efficiently. Promote adherence to standard operating procedures and quality standards. Partner with process engineering and management to implement process improvements. Champion 5S, Kamishibai, and other Fluke Business System (FBS) practices. Support compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulations and company policies. Train new employees and assign daily work tasks based on priorities. Optimize use of people and resources to meet delivery, quality, and safety goals. Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical support to team members. Deliver performance feedback and support employee development. Act as a liaison between the team and production management. Proven ability to lead and support a team in a production environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to give constructive feedback and build trust. Analytical mindset with sound judgment on when and how to escalate issues. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and FBS practices. Familiarity with KPI tracking and performance reporting. Comfort working with diverse teams and fostering an inclusive environment.
