Are you an ambitious and customer-focused individual ready to step into a leadership role within a dynamic retail environment? We’re seeking a highly motivated and skilled Team Lead - Fresh. This is an exciting leadership position designed for individuals with strong potential and a passion for fresh food. You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive the best quality fresh products across key departments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Champion fresh products: Consistently deliver high-quality items across Bakery, Fresh Service, Fruit & Veg, Deli Service, Bulk Foods, Cut & Wrap Cheese, and Fresh Convenience.

  • Cultivate a customer-first culture: Within the fresh departments foster exceptional service, proactive engagement, and effective inquiry and feedback management.

  • Lead Store Operations: Capable of managing the entire store in the Store Manager’s absence, providing support and ensuring smooth operations, gaining hands-on experience in overall store management.
  • Lead Self, Others, and Strategically: Show a strong ability to lead yourself, motivate others, and contribute strategically to the store’s overall success and fresh departments.
  • Lead and develop: Build a high-performing team in a positive environment. Support team members’ career growth within the company and recognise their achievements frequently.
  • Effectively manage: Fresh department operations by delegating tasks, prioritising demands, controlling inventory/waste and merchandising to achieve goals.
  • Commit to ongoing learning and development: Enhance leadership skills by staying updated on best practices in team development, communication, and strategic decision-making within your department.
