JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to oversee daily operations within our warehouse environment. The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team of associates. This position requires strong mechanical knowledge and experience in warehouse management to facilitate effective materials handling and inventory control.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations and equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with materials handling techniques and inventory control processes.
• Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a leadership role is preferred.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for inventory tracking.
• Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements effectively.
• Forklift certification is a plus but can be obtained upon hiring.

• Oversee inventory management and control, ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained.
• Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse.
• Train new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to maintain cleanliness and organization.
