Ready to lead, support and grow a Danish E-commerce team? At MakesYouLocal, we help ambitious e-commerce brands grow across borders. Denmark is one of our key growth markets, and our team plays a central role in that journey. We’re now looking for a Danish Team Lead who wants to help grow both the team and the market. This role combines people leadership with hands-on operational e-commerce work. You’ll take responsibility for a growing team and actively contribute to strengthening MakesYouLocal’s presence in the market. You will work closely with well-known brands, build strong relationships, and expand your professional network in one of Europe’s most important e-commerce markets. You’ll be responsible for a team consisting of: E-commerce Managers (client-facing, strategic and optimisation-focused) E-commerce assistants (Customer service, translations and back-office tasks-focused) If you enjoy motivating people, ensuring quality, and still being close to the business and the clients, this role is for you 🚀 Your role – leadership with impact Team leadership & responsibility Lead and support a Danish team across two different role types, ensuring clarity of expectations and strong collaboration Create a motivating, safe and friendly work environment where people grow and succeed Hold monthly 1:1s, give continuous feedback and support individual development Proactively address issues and ensure concerns are heard and resolved Quality, performance & delivery Ensure team members are prepared for their tasks and deliver on time and at the expected quality Monitor team KPIs (both quantitative and qualitative) and take action when needed Take overall responsibility for the quality of the team’s work, with shared feedback loops on translations, customer service and localisation tasks Act as an escalation point when things get complex Resource planning Ensure the team has the right number of people with the right skill set Maintain a high billable percentage while balancing workload and well-being Collaborate closely with Operations teams and other Team Leads What we’re looking for Native Danish speaker with a strong understanding of Danish consumers Minimum 12 months in team leadership or people management with demonstrated leadership qualities Excellent English (C1/C2) for daily collaboration in an international team Strong leadership skills with a positive and motivating mindset Confident decision-maker who can analyse situations and act Able to give feedback in a constructive, clear and motivating way Genuinely interested in helping people grow and celebrating team success What it’s like working with us We take our work seriously – but not ourselves.
