Benefits in Visp: https://bit.ly/3wjkoFi What you will do: Lead, manage and develop a team of lab technicians and interns responsible for the execution of laboratory work on customer projects and the maintenance and organization of the Purification Development laboratory. Foster a open environment where people are encouraged to develop, share and grow. Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, development and performance management. Represent the Purification Development team cross-discipline and provide strong scientific and technical leadership at project level. Design experimental plans and data analysis methods for project-specific downstream process development activities, write and review high quality reports. Coordinate execution of experimental work. Facilitate improvements to business processes and workflows and contribute to the implementation of innovative technologies. What we are looking for: Master’s or Phd degree in biotechnology or related discipline > 5 years of experience in purification development, with a strong understanding of Mammalian downstream processes Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams and complex projects Structured, focused and well-organised working attitude, open-minded for new ideas and suggestions, high motivation and dynamic drive Good knowledge of English and basic German is required About Lonza At Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
