Your role at St John of God Social Outreach
We are looking to recruit two Team Leaders to support our Medicare Mental Health services at Armadale and Gosnells, WA.
Armadale - 1.0 FTE - Rostered day and afternoon shifts including weekends. 10-day fortnight.
Gosnells – 1.0 FTE - Weekdays, 9:00-5:00pm.
Our teams provide a safe and welcoming spaces for locals to walk in and access free mental health support and services - no referral, Medicare card or appointment needed. Staffed by qualified mental health professionals and people with lived experience, the centres provide immediate support to adults in distress, including their families, friends and carers.
The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced mental health professional with a relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Nursing, along with current registration with AHPRA or membership with the appropriate professional association.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a leadership role within a community-based mental health setting, including the ability to allocate tasks effectively and supervise a multidisciplinary team. You will bring demonstrated expertise in delivering both individual and group therapy across a range of mental health presentations and will be well-versed in trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practices.
Successful applicants must hold a current Working with Children Certificate and National Police Clearance.
