We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Team Lead to join our team at the Mental Health Urgent Care Hub (MHUCH).
Working within the Urgent Care Pathway, the Mental Health Urgent Care Hub incorporates the Mental Health Response Vehicle. Place of Safety Assessment Unit and the Hub to provide visible and strong leadership as the service continues to develop and evolve. The Mental Health Care Hub provides urgent biopsychosocial triage and assessment for patients presenting with a mental health needs 24 hours a day.
The post holder will be a key member of the leadership team, who will be responsible for providing clinical and operational leadership to the Mental Health Urgent Care Hub during an exciting period of change and service development.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY (MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
The successful candidate will line manage Mental Health Practitioners and support these direct reports to line manage health care support workers.
The Team lead will monitor staffing levels, co-ordinate the shift, formulate the team roster, carry out investigations, investigate concerns and contact patients to resolve issues, complete audits, monitor and sign off incidents, ensure the team get regular supervision and lead on meetings where required. The successful candidate will also lead on recruitment and service development. This role requires the ability to multitask; incorporating service development, clinical management as well as reviewing service data quality and audits. Excellent communication, technical and organisational skills are essential.
At times of peak activity or staffing shortages there is an expectation that team leads will work clinically, bringing their extensive clinical expertise to lead both operationally and clinically.
