We are on the lookout for a Team Lead, Parcel for our Santa Fe Springs Warehouse who shares our passion for being Customer Obsessed. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in being responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective receipt, sortation and dispatch of parcels. This role involves leading a team of warehouse associates, coordinating activities, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in logistics or warehouse management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is also ready to be a part of the process and is ready to get their hands dirty! Role Details: Hourly rate: $23-$27 per hour based on experience Shift schedule will run from the afternoon into the evening time. Requires flexibility to work weekends. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the efficient and accurate sorting of packages Unloading and receiving packages from various sources (trucks, containers etc) Provide regular reports on warehouse performance and key metrics (SLAs) to the operations leadership, Ensure associates are working efficiently based on target metrics provided. Provide feedback to internal management team on associate performance Use of tools including but not limited to scanners, carts and dollies Maintain accurate and timely records of warehouse activities Follow all 5S processes consistently and effectively; Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture; Train new employees on company standards and procedures; Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates; Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity; Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback; Enforce safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment; Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or missing goods; Communicate effectively with team members and internal management Qualifications: Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position; Strong leadership and team management skills; Excellent organizational and time-management abilities; Strong conflict resolution skills; Proficient in warehouse management software and the Google Suite; Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs); Prolonged periods of standing and walking; Hold a valid forklift license; Have your own reliable transportation as you will be working nights; Why Join Us?
