YOUR CHALLENGE:

As our Team Lead People Operations within the People Operations Team, you will own the experience of people at Taxfix. Reporting to our Senior Director of Talent and collaborating with People & Organization, Talent Acquisition, and Workplace teams, you will manage a team that deeply understands the work and challenges of the company. You will drive automation, AI-first thinking, and data-driven decision-making to create efficient and scalable people processes while ensuring compliance with employment law and regulatory requirements. You will also play a key role in optimizing team structures, tools usage, and reporting capabilities to support broader business success. We are looking for a proactive and pragmatic leader who thrives in high-performance environments and can challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing People Operations team, providing guidance and structure for efficient and effective daily operations.
  • Drives alignment between People Operations priorities and company objectives by setting team strategies promoting transparency, accountability, and continuous iteration as required
  • Set high expectations for performance, fostering a results-oriented culture that emphasizes accountability and impactful execution.
  • Embed an AI-first mindset within People Operations, identifying and implementing AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
  • Partner with an automation engineer to develop and implement process automation that reduces manual effort and improves operational excellence.
  • Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making, assess team productivity, and support organizational growth through strategic workforce planning.
  • Optimize operational on- and offboarding processes to ensure seamless and efficient transitions, contributing to a strong employee experience.
  • Monitor the consistency of existing processes and implement new standards, guidelines, and best practices within People Operations.
  • Provide interim support to the Workplace team, contributing operational expertise to ensure smooth collaboration across people functions.
  • Leverage employment law knowledge to maintain compliance and advise on best practices, ensuring policies align with legal requirements.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency in people processes.
  • Partner closely with leadership to assess and enhance team structures, tools adoption, and reporting capabilities that enable strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure best-in-class employee lifecycle processes, including documentation, compliance, and data accuracy, supporting company-wide operational effectiveness.
  • Foster an ownership mentality among the team, empowering them to take initiative and proactively solve challenges.
