QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree in a health discipline, health or social studies is required. Master’s-level education preferred
  • Regulated Health Care Professional with registration in good standing with appropriate regulatory college preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or post graduate education in health administration is a strong asset
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a hospital or community setting that provides services to people with disabilities is required
  • Knowledge and experience delivering recreational programs for young people with disabilities strongly preferred
  • Excellent understanding of the availability of social and recreational programs across the province, especially within the GTA
  • Superior communication, interpersonal, facilitation and project management skills
  • At least 2 years of project management or project leadership experience, ideally working with multiple partners, is a strong asset
  • Experience designing, implementing and leading knowledge translation opportunities across multiple sites and sectors
  • Experience working with research and evaluation teams to design, implement and monitor research related to knowledge translation and/or health provider experience is an asset
  • Understanding of budgets and resource allocation across multiple sites
  • Experience with online databases
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders across different organizations
