Team Lead, Project Engineering Automation

Our alarm and control systems are designed to control, monitor, and analyse vessel devices and processes. The system comprises both software and hardware components, enabling data collection from field equipment both on-board and remotely. This capability allows our customers to manage energy savings, such as fuel consumption, in power plants and air conditioning systems.
We are now looking for a Team Lead, Project Engineering Automation.
The location for the position is in Drammen, Norway. We offer the possibility to hybrid work.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
In this position, your work will include leading, mentoring, and developing a team of engineers, contributing to the planning, execution, and delivery of automation projects, and developing and implementing engineering strategies that align with company goals. On a typical day, you might start with providing technical guidance and support to the engineering team and end the day working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and field service, to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independence, as you will have support from your engineering team and cross-functional teams.
For us to be the best match, we expect you to have an understanding in engineering or automation and experience from working with automation engineering. As an ideal candidate, you have gained experience from at least five years in automation engineering and have a degree in engineering, automation, or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred. For you to succeed in the position, we hope you to have proven leadership and team management skills, good project management and organizational abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
