Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead to effectively manage our New Zealand Project Management Office (PMO). Along with leading the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects to a high standard, on time, and within budget. You will drive efficiency through process refinement, continuous improvement initiatives, and work closely with leadership to ensure excellence across all project activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead in alignment with Canon’s vision and goals, working with the National Manager – Technical Services to meet KPIs and outcomes.
  • Provide a point of escalation for both the Project Managers as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be accountable for the PMO teams’ performance ensuring success metrics are being met and providing guidance and mentoring.
  • Ensuring projects are completed within all agreed boundaries including scope, cost, and time.
  • Drive a team culture that embraces knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure key stakeholders, internal and external, are up to date on progress throughout the lifecycle of the projects.
  • Identify and capitalise on opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
  • Establish and maintain consistent approach in Project Management practices.
