We are committed to the safe and secure reuse of electronics, the responsible recycling of electronics to divert waste from landfills and the recovery of natural resources from obsolete electronics.
We are looking for a Team Lead – RMA to join our team in North Bay, Ontario. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Team Lead – RMA oversees the daily workflow of the Defective area and ensures that clients processing turnaround times are met. Under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Team Lead – RMA will support and assign daily work assignments to team members; oversee the processing of defective parts; maintain the accuracy of part information recorded in inventory software and spreadsheets; communicate with external stakeholders; and maintain compliance with Quantum policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of data entry/administrative experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to stay organized, effectively multitask, and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Collaboration skills with a team and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel for basic data entry/report generation.
  • Learning-oriented: comfort with learning new computer software and learning about electronic components.
Responsibilities
  • Delegate daily work assignments to Defective area team members in consultation with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure production metrics and turnaround times are met.
  • Oversee the productivity workflow of team members in the Defective area.
  • Ensure all parts are processed in a timely manner in adherence to stakeholder turnaround times.
  • Ensure daily checks are completed.
  • Pack/unpack parts from shipments, assist with sorting and storing.
  • Abide by and enforce Company policies regarding work and quality procedures; security; and health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Lead by example when conducting all work tasks: demonstrate effective communication, professionalism, and provide guidance on appropriate workplace behaviours.
  • Facilitate the process of shipping, receiving, testing, and tracking RMAs in adherence to defined stakeholder procedures.
  • Verify part information, prepare paperwork, labels, and update the status of parts in computerized inventory software and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Verify accuracy of shipment information prior to sending, address any discrepancies or errors.
  • Generate status reports and attend regular meetings with stakeholders.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders/vendors via email to provide updates on the status of parts, escalate issues.
  • Communicate with relevant parties to ensure processed parts are appropriately routed internally or shipped to external locations.
  • Inform Management of problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials, and labour.Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies through continuous improvement of processes and systems.


    • Maintain confidentiality of all Customer, Supplier, and Company information.

    • Ensure to work with/use security measures, procedures, and devices as required.
    • Participate in training as required and apply knowledge gained through training on the job.
