ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Team Lead Sales & Account Management (m/w/d) you will report into the Director Commercial of ZEOS. You are responsible for a portfolio of strategic partners and will drive their growth with ZEOS on Zalando, other marketplaces as well as their own webshops. You plan and manage the budget for this business, and you are leading a team of Sales & Account Managers and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders within ZEOS and the broader Zalando organization.
ZEOS is a key strategic growth area for Zalando, leveraging its cutting-edge logistics infrastructure to provide comprehensive fulfillment solutions to fashion and lifestyle brands. By offering services that extend beyond Zalando’s own platform to other marketplaces and brands’ direct-to-consumer channels, ZEOS aims to be the operating system for fashion, empowering partners to scale their e-commerce businesses efficiently and sustainably.

  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategy: Design and execute the team’s sales strategy, building a world-class sales organization with ambitious long-term goals within ZEOS.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, build, and develop a high-performing, solution-oriented Sales team, motivating them to achieve challenging objectives.
  • Logistics Expertise and Consulting: Develop a deep understanding of logistics solutions and guide account managers in promoting ZEOS’s comprehensive offerings to various partners, including brands, vertical retailers, multi-branded retailers, and Zalando marketplace partners.
  • Sales Enablement and Execution: Empower the team to effectively utilize sales methodologies and tools, create compelling business cases and pitch decks, and employ strong negotiation tactics to successfully sell complex logistics solutions.
  • Strategic Stakeholder Management: Cultivate robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of Zalando and partner organizations, driving multiple projects to timely conclusions and reporting progress against KPIs to executive leadership.
  • Contract Negotiation and Resolution: Enable the team to successfully and efficiently close complex and high-impact contract negotiations, proactively resolving challenges through data analysis
  • Continuous Improvement and Role Modeling: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the sales team by sharing successes, failures, and learnings, and act as a positive role model for both team members and internal stakeholders.
