Commvault is seeking a proactive, results-driven Team Lead of Sales Development to guide and scale a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives with a strong emphasis on cold calling and outbound prospecting. This player-coach role reports into the Americas Demand Center and is central to driving pipeline creation through outbound execution, whitespace coverage, and event follow-up.
We’re looking for a leader who thrives on the phones, knows how to break into net-new accounts, and can motivate others to do the same. The ideal candidate is someone who leads from the front and is comfortable dialing, objection handling, and setting the standard for outbound activity.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of SDRs to meet and exceed cold outbound opportunity creation targets
  • Establish a high-cadence operating rhythm with daily call blitzes, role plays, and real-time coaching sessions
  • Drive SDR performance by setting and enforcing call volume benchmarks, talk time goals, and connect conversion metrics
  • Partner with marketing and field sales to maximize lead follow-up and outbound campaign effectiveness
  • Improve messaging quality and outbound sequences tailored to specific personas and verticals
  • Utilize Salesforce and SEP tools to monitor activity levels, maintain clean data hygiene, and report team performance
  • Run targeted outreach playbooks aligned with territory goals and whitespace penetration
  • Actively participate in recruiting, hiring, and ramping new SDRs with a strong outbound-first mentality
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Enablement, and Operations to accelerate pipeline generation
