JOB SUMMARY

As a Team Lead / Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing project execution, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high standards of performance. Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for leading junior team members, managing project timelines and budgets, and coordinating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma/Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in interior renovations/construction projects, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to guide junior staff and ensure project success.
  • Experience in project scheduling, budgeting, and documentation preparation (e.g. project reports, PTW applications, contracts).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
  • Positive mindset with a “can-do” attitude, initiative-driven, and responsible.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Director in managing and mentoring junior staff.
  • Ensure the team’s performance meets expectations and industry standards.
  • Oversee project progress to ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including project schedules, progress reports, meeting minutes, surveys, and completion reports.
  • Handle site work documentation, such as Permit-to-Work (PTW) applications and insurance requirements.
  • Assist in tender documentation when required.
  • Work closely with Quantity Surveyors (QS) to obtain quotes, conduct site surveys, and review contracts before issuing purchase orders.
  • Conduct site coordination and client meetings, ensuring smooth communication between subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.
  • Oversee all project-related tasks from initiation to closure.
