QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or kitchen management within the food industry.
  • Strong background in quick service & fast food restaurant operations is preferred.
  • Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to train staff effectively in culinary skills and customer service.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management and development.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory control and budgeting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in hospitality management or related fields is desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality food production.
  • Oversee coffee bar and maintain exceptional standards. Adhering to the Starbucks training procedures and promotional protocol.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Train and develop staff in barista techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence. Working (hand in hand), with the manager in all aspects of the Starbucks operation.
  • Manage shift operations, including scheduling, cash handling, and POS system oversight (Aloha POS, Micros POS).
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of food handling and preparation.
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and motivation.

  • Collaborate with management on budgeting, menu planning, and catering events as needed.
