Team Lead – Warehouse The Team Lead – Warehouse role is responsible for providing hands-on leadership and training to warehouse staff, ensuring accurate scheduling of orders and shipments. This position oversees inventory management, maintains 5S standards, and drives productivity and efficiency improvements while managing inbound and outbound distribution processes. Why Work At Rittal: Compensation: $24.32 - 28.46 Above average benefits available on the 1st of the month after you start. 401K Match Key Responsibilities: Hands on leadership and training of Warehouse personnel. Directs Warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate scheduling of customer orders and shipments. Manages inventory including all finished goods ensuring accuracy and quality metrics are met. Manages proper distribution of product to customers through inbound and outbound processes. Prepares Warehouse for physical inventory. Maintain Warehouse 5S. Responsible for department productivity and efficiency gains. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Proficient in computer applications, including Windows, Word, and Excel. Strong communication skills for leading meetings, conducting employee reviews, and preparing reports. Ability to lead and train team members while ensuring operational accuracy and efficiency. Demonstrated ability to execute directives provided verbally or in writing, make logical decisions, and assist in problem-solving. Physical Requirements Ability to spend extended periods on the warehouse floor and/or at a computer workstation. Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching throughout the shift. Occasionally lift 25–50 lbs to waist level and up to 25 lbs overhead. Mental Requirements Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail. Ability to learn warehouse procedures and new software systems. Effective verbal and written communication with employees, vendors, and customers. Safety Requirements Wear safety-toed footwear, safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and other PPE as required. Relationships Direct Contacts: Manager – Logistics, Supervisors, Team Leads, Warehouse employees, Truck Drivers, Vendors. Indirect Contacts: Other departments throughout the plant.
