Qualifications * 3+ years of experience leading IT development teams. * Strong familiarity with AI-related initiatives, modern engineering teams, or emerging technology adoption programs. * Comfort working with emerging technology and ambiguity. * Excellent time management and organization skills. * Passion for technology with the willingness to promote change. * Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership and C-level stakeholders. * Ability to partner closely with Developers and Analysts, understanding enough technical detail to effectively coordinate work and remove roadblocks. * Experience organizing surveys, feedback loops, and metrics-driven reporting. * High organizational discipline: documentation, status reporting, scheduling, and cross-team synchronization. * Strong relationship-building skills across IT, business partners, and leadership layers. * Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to operate within a Center of Excellence model. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $114,000 to $142,500 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. This team drives strategic AI native tooling adoption, engineering modernization, and enterprise-wide enablement efforts that are highly visible across WWT — including regular interaction with C-level executives. Reporting to the Senior Manager of the IT Software Engineering Center of Excellence (CoE), this role will lead a high-performing team made up of Analysts and Developers, fostering a culture of innovation, rapid experimentation, and AI proficiency. Key Responsibilities People Leadership & Team Development * Coach team members and promote growth in their current and future roles. * Gather, prepare, and deliver performance feedback to team members. * Encourage others to strive for continuous improvement. * Provide technical leadership and promote best practices. Strategic Planning & Organizational Alignment * Assist in the development of strategic planning. * Partner with Senior Leadership and the Project Manager to align resourcing to efforts. * Participate in strategic planning to ensure achievement of initiative goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication * Coordinate with other IT teams and business partners. * Enable communication across Analysts, Developers, and supporting teams. * Partner closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful outcomes. Program / Initiative Coordination & Execution * Coordinate multiple parallel initiatives within the AI Native Engineering team. * Organize workstreams, scheduling, documentation, and crossteam synchronization. * Track success metrics, surveys, feedback loops, and reporting related to AIdriven transformation. * Remove roadblocks and ensure smooth execution of modernization and AI enablement efforts.

Responsibilities

The Team Lead will coach team members, promote growth, and coordinate multiple initiatives within the AI Native Engineering team. They will also ensure alignment with senior leadership and facilitate communication across teams.
