Your role at St John of God Accord We are currently seeking applications for an enthusiastic and motivated Team Leader to join our Accommodation site in Eltham. You will lead and supervise a team of four to five Disability Support Workers in our brand-new state of art Accommodation facility for people with a disability. We are offering this position on a permanent full-time basis, with rosters being a mix of weekday, weekend, day and night shifts. The Position Provide effective leadership, mentoring and supervision of DSWs to assist the development and achievement of team and client goals. Roster development, maintenance and review ensuring adherence to SJOGA guidelines, EBA, funding and legislation. Active involvement in the implementation and review of person-centred plans (PCPs) as required, Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) in conjunction with clients and their circle of support and any other relevant stakeholders. Ensure all relevant records (including but not limited to) file notes, incident reports, OHS requirements, client and household finances and health management records are accurately maintained and updated either electronically or paper based (as required). We are seeking a dynamic individual with a Certificate IV or above in Disability Studies or a related discipline, who possesses strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office, internet research, and Outlook is essential, alongside excellent planning and organisational skills. Successful applicants must have a valid VIC Drivers Licence, Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR and be eligible for a NDIS screening clearance.
