YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to motivate and support your team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve effective performance.
  • Experience of working in an administrative role in a customer-focussed environment

SKILLED WORKER VISA

From 22 July 2025, the Government increased the salary threshold and skills level for Skilled Worker visas. This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for sponsorship in accordance with the current immigration rules if you looking to apply for a Skilled Worker Visa for the first time.

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

Leading your team, you’ll focus on the team’s area of work, making sure that work is prioritised and organised and your team fully skilled to meet objectives. As an effective Team Leader, you recognise the importance of the team’s overall wellbeing and can motivate your team to succeed.
You will contribute to the delivery of operational, performance and service standard targets and provide statistical data for the management team and judiciary. Your keen eye for detail and desire for continuous improvement is key to your success. Monitoring and analysing performance areas and trends, conducting ongoing reviews of procedures and work practices is essential, as is your ability to successfully recommend improvements, navigate change and manage the implementation of new initiatives and legislation.
This is a challenging and rewarding role, key to the smooth running of operational functions throughout HMCTS. IN ADDITION, THE TEAM LEADER WILL TAKE ON THE ACCOMMODATION LIAISON OFFICER ROLE WHICH WILL INCLUDE THE BELOW ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Keep colleagues (including the Judiciary and other occupiers) in the county, informed on building related issues, such as upcoming works, visits, escalations, complaints and project works.
  • Work with the HMCTS Facilities Management Team to ensure that outstanding issues are escalated promptly and appropriately.
  • Ensure that all minor works are logged with the FM and Security Helpdesk in a

timely fashion, using the online tools w possible.

  • Monitor the impact and effect of problems and issues to site operations, raising

accordingly and attending Facilities Management meetings w appropriate.

  • Carry out Health and Safety walkarounds, audits and risk assessments (appropriate training will be provided)
  • Submit health and safety returns.
  • Work with HMCTS Facilities Management Team to ensure the scope of minor

work and projects are accurate, aiming to minimise the operational impact.

  • When required, undertake Security related tasks, (inc. conducting Panic Alarm

Checks and booking of Ad-Hoc Security, w required and approved by FM).

  • Being mindful of Sustainability related targets and how your site can assist.
