We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our friendly and experienced team. This position will be to work across two of our services Fir Tree Lodge and Gravel Hill.
Fir Tree Lodge is situated in Caterham, Surrey and supports people with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge. The Service is made up of 6 self-contained flats that are spacious and furnished to a high specification, with well equipped kitchens and a living/dining areas. The flats have been fully refurbished and renovated to meet the needs of residents who have various physical and complex needs. Parking is available at the service.
Gravel Hill is a specialist supported living care service for adults. Situated in Croydon, South London, the property is made up of 2 self-contained flats and 4 en-suite bedrooms accessing shared living spaces. The service is spacious and furnished to a high specification with well equipped kitchens and a living/dining area. All rooms are equipped with a call point system so that support can be called for at the touch of a button.
The property has been fully refurbished and renovated to meet the needs of residents who have various physical and complex needs. The two ground floor flats benefit from their own separate access and wheelchair accessible living including wet room bathrooms. The main property offers spacious en-suite accommodation with wet rooms and large communal living and kitchen areas. The property has off road and on street parking and large well established gardens to the rear, which provide stunning views onto the beautiful Addington Park.
We look after the person as a whole, caring for their wants and needs, both physically and emotionally, fostering an environment of personal growth, inclusion, honesty and integrity, leading our residents to live the most rewarding lives.
We’re situated close to local amenities with excellent public transport links allowing us to provide supervised travel when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with the people we support, which are open and two way
  • Support to undertake their rehabilitation programme
  • Establish methods of communication with the people we support, reducing barriers when necessary
  • Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
  • Communicate any issues to the clinical team
  • Accurately report and/or record work activities
  • To be part of the on call team
  • Complete Supervisions of Support Workers
