Job Description What is the opportunity? The Team Leader (Agile Flex) leads and supports a team that supports a variety of workstreams within the broader Payments & Trade Operations (PTO) team where the business need is greatest. Currently, the Agile Flex team supports Trade, Payments, Payment Investigations, Settlements, Day 2 Investigations, and System Monitoring (completing regular health checks of our various applications, identifying issues, running PRP’s, escalating issues, etc.). What will you do? Create a culture of trust and positive rapport and collaboration Conduct regular coaching sessions with their staff Support employees short/longer-term career goals by establishing and supporting career development plans Ensure employees abide by RBC policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct, etc., collaborating with management and HR, as necessary Collaborate with management and their peers across PTO and with leadership to ensure adequate support is provided, where business needs warrant Support and participate in various initiatives and projects, as requested Support their teams through change in areas of focus and workstreams supported, as business needs require What do you need to succeed? Must Have High School Diploma Previous leadership, mentoring, and coaching Experience Strong written and oral communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously Nice to Have College diploma or degree Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses What’s in it for you?
