VMCH is inviting internal Expressions of Interest for the role of Team Leader – At Home Aged Care (AHAC). This position is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the AHAC program, ensuring high-quality, person-centred service delivery and full compliance with contractual, legislative and organisational requirements. ABOUT THE ROLE The Team Leader – AHAC will: * Provide operational leadership across the AHAC service within the allocated region * Ensure services are delivered in line with VMCH policies, funding requirements and relevant legislation * Monitor staffing requirements, workforce capability and service coverage * Manage budgets, reporting obligations and program targets * Oversee quality, compliance, risk management and continuous improvement activities * Manage complaints and complex service matters, escalating issues where required * Support consumer engagement activities and contribute to service development initiatives This role plays a key leadership function in supporting person-centred, consumer-directed care and maintaining consistent service standards across the AHAC program. ABOUT YOU You will have: * Tertiary qualifications in health or a related field, with substantial experience in community or aged care services * Demonstrated experience in operational management within a community or home care environment * A sound understanding of aged care funding models and reporting requirements * Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills * The ability to manage competing priorities and complex operational issues * Well-developed communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders * A current Victorian driver’s licence and the ability to travel as required HOW TO APPLY Internal employees are invited to submit a cover letter outlining their suitability for the role, including relevant experience and capability aligned to the Team Leader – AHAC position.
