JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be leading a team of assembly technicians working on new PET and Closures projects. Your key challenge will be to organize the team in order to meet our project deliverables while enhancing Quality, On-time and Effectiveness. In this role you will report to the PET and Closures Tooling Operations Manager located in Luxembourg with strong interactions with our global PET and Closures teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to lead and develop a team to meet our Execution Excellence targets & strengthen our performances.
  • Align the team Performance Development Plan (PDP) with our company objectives & deploy actionable development plan for our team members.
  • Responsible for the department budget (fixed spend, direct labor, subcontracting and capital requirement)
  • Work in close collaboration with all stakeholders (manufacturing, test, material, sales support, service, quality and other operation hubs)
  • Ability to drive the required changes and share the company performance results with the team will be essential
  • Ensure quality standards and procedures are adapted and adhered to.
  • Deploy standard work & daily close loop practices (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost)
  • Demonstrate due diligence and ensure a safe work environment for all team membersDevelop & maintain team product knowledge & competency matrix.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree, technical education or equivalent experience
  • Leadership, Lean and MDI meetings experience would be an advantage
  • Effective organizational, communication and facilitation skills
  • Experience in working with an ERP system
  • Experience in working with data analytics tools (PowerBI)
  • Familiar in using all MS office applications
  • Ready to embrace new challenges
  • Beverage packaging product background would be an advantage but not essential
  • Strong decision- making judgment
  • Fluent in EnglishAdditional language skills such as German or French would be considered an asset
