We are an award-winning*, family-run care home looking to recruit someone on behalf of our residents in Langham Court, who will be able to support them with their daily lives.
Our team benefits from high staffing levels (up to 1:3 carers:residents, and even higher when you take our nurses, homemakers and housekeepers into consideration), innovative care models (we were the first care home in the world to be awarded a Level 1 in the Dragonfly Approach), and a family-run ethos (three generations of the Hoare family live on the estate along with their cats, dogs, chickens, sheep and horses and have been running the estate for 44 years).
Team Leaders are expected to hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. Team Leaders benefit from specialist training in dementia care (the Butterfly Approach), challenging behaviour (RAID course), and other areas including management, leadership and medication administration.
