Process Overview* The CFO India platform provides offshore finance delivery and transformation support to Line of Business (LOB) and Enterprise Finance teams, delivering end‑to‑end CFO capabilities across financial accounting and close, financial control and compliance, financial planning and analysis, management and regulatory reporting, financial operations, finance systems, and finance change and ledger modernization initiatives. Global Finance was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Legal Entity Controllership, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Regulatory Reporting, Operational Risk and Control Oversight, Finance Systems Support, etc. Our group supports the Finance function for the Consumer Banking, Wealth and Investment Management business teams across Financial Planning and Analysis, period end close, management reporting and data analysis. Job Description* The candidate will be responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and reporting for the Consumer and/or Wealth business. The work would be a mix of standard and ad-hoc deliverables based on dynamic business requirements. Technical competency is essential to build processes which ensure data quality and completeness across all projects / requests related to business. The core responsibility of this individual is process management to achieve sustainable, accurate and well controlled results. Candidate should have a clear understanding of the end-to-end process (including its purpose) and a discipline of managing and continuously improving those processes. Responsibilities* Preparation of various FP&A reports (revenue, other KPIs etc.) including performing variance analysis Perform month end activities Responsible for the preparation of various business reviews and ad-hoc financial analysis to support senior management decisions Be a key contributor to business initiatives that require subject matter expertise. Extremely good with numbers and ability to present various business/finance metrics, detailed analysis, and key observations to US partners. Requirements* Education* CA/CPA or MBA finance Experience Range* 0-2 years of experience in Financial reporting and planning Foundational skills* Basic working knowledge of Finance and Data Analysis Strong computer skills, including MS excel, power point Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), Interpersonal skills and relationship management skills Fundamental understanding of risk management and internal controls Highly motivated, able to work independently, self-starter and problem solving skills Desired skills Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities under pressure, and deliver as well as being able to adapt to changes Able to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment Good knowledge of financial/banking products Hands‑on experience using Microsoft 365 Copilot or equivalent generative AI tools to accelerate writing, analysis, and presentation of business deliverables Ability to frame effective prompts to generate accurate, relevant, and reusable AI outputs Experience leveraging AI for data analysis and insight generation, including variance analysis, trend identification, and preparation of executive‑ready summaries Sound judgment and risk awareness, including the application of appropriate checks, controls, and human review when leveraging tools, data, or automated outputs Ownership and accountability for end‑to‑end outcomes, quality, and timelines, with proactive escalation of risks and issues Problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to analyze complex issues, apply sound judgment, and propose practical solutions in ambiguous or evolving situations Learning agility and change readiness, with comfort in adapting to new tools, processes, and ways of working, including effective use of AI‑enabled tools where relevant Strong collaboration and executive‑level communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams, functions, and geographies using clear, concise, and professional communication Work Timings* 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm (will require to stretch 7-8 days in a month to meet critical deadlines) Job Location* Mumbai At Bank of America, we are guided by a common purpose to help make financial lives better through the power of every connection.
