Embark on a journey within MCB’s Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) SBU – Strategic Office. The Strategic Office plays a central role in driving CIB’s strategic agenda, strengthening execution discipline and coordinating key cross‑functional initiatives across the SBU and the wider value chain. As part of the Business Enablement section, you will work closely with CIB’s clusters to support the delivery of strategic, regulatory and operational priorities. We are on the lookout for:   Job vacancy: Team Leader-Business Enablement Your responsibility as Team Leader – Business Enablement, will be to lead a team responsible for translating CIB’s strategic priorities into structured and disciplined execution. The role anchors governance routines, drives performance management and strengthens operational coordination across the CIB value chain. You will work closely with CIB units to ensure alignment and timely delivery across strategic and operational initiatives. In this role you will; * Translate CIB’s strategic priorities into structured and disciplined execution, ensuring clear workplans, timely follow‑through and visibility on progress, risks, and decisions required; * Facilitate and coordinate strategy and planning routines, including strategy workshops, annual budgeting, and target‑setting and support CIB leadership and Global Heads with initiative roadmaps and updates; * Drive performance management across CIB through quarterly business updates, balanced scorecards, pipeline deep dives and business review routines; * Strengthen operational coordination across the CIB value chain, ensuring effective collaboration between origination, product, middle office and support teams; * Anchor governance and leadership routines, including preparation of decision packs, management of townhalls, and timely completion of process updates, approvals and regulatory follow‑ups; * Ensure cross‑team alignment and issue resolution by coordinating dependencies, managing stakeholders and escalating bottlenecks to enable smooth delivery of strategic, operational and regulatory initiatives; * Coordinate change management efforts, supporting adoption of new processes, tools, data‑driven practices and ways of working across CIB. To succeed in this position, you will be required to demonstrate the following competencies:  * Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems; * Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals; * Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals; * Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions. * Actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning fodder; We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of: EITHER: * An undergraduate Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Management or equivalent; * A Master’s degree, MBA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred; * At least 7 years’ experience within the banking sector with solid exposure to CIB environments; * At least 3 years in a leadership or management role within the banking industry.   OR: * At least 10 years' experience within the banking sector, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, with solid exposure to CIB environments. AND You will need to demonstrate the following: * Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to structure complex information and drive clarity; * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across the CIB value chain; * Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives, manage dependencies and drive timely execution. * High level of organisation, discipline, and attention to detail in managing governance, performance routines and follow‑ups; * Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment, balancing strategic priorities with operational realities.   A combination of both qualification & experience will be considered.
