1x permanent post, hours - 37 hours per week, shift pattern - 7.5 hours per day working between the hours of 0700-1700 daily on a rotational basis.
The Cook Freeze Production Unit is seeking to hire a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Band 3 Supervisor, Team Leader within The Cook Freeze Production Unit.
This role entails the daily coordination and supervision of several ‘core functions’ to ensure the seamless operation of activities, compliance with productivity schedules, and the maintenance of consistently high quality standards. The core functions are supported by four primary teams: Production; Hygiene; Portioning, Packing & Freezing; and Goods In/Issue. The individual in this position will serve as Team Leader for all four core functions on a rotational basis, with daily responsibilities assigned to one specific team.
The individual will assist the Team Manager by providing effective supervision, training, and development for CPU staff. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of food and environmental hygiene throughout the CPU and its associated areas.
While a certificate in Intermediate food hygiene is preferred, it is not mandatory as training can be provided. However, experience in a large-scale food production or catering environment is essential for this role.
