JOB TITLE: Core and Cluster Team Lead
LOCATION: Inverness

SALARY: £27,124-£30,283 per annum
Centred is a progressive charitable company based in the Highlands that supports people through mental ill health toward mental well-being. Our services are based in Caithness, Easter Ross, Inverness, and Lochaber. Within Inverness, we operate three 24/7 staffed supported living services known as clusters.
We are introducing a brand-new role of Cluster Services Lead to provide cross-site leadership, staff support, and service oversight across our cluster homes in Inverness.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Cluster Services Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our cluster services. You’ll work across all three locations to ensure high-quality, person-centred support is consistently delivered, and that staff are well-supported and confident in their roles.
You’ll provide practical leadership to our Senior Health & Social Care Practitioners, help maintain high standards in care planning and medication management, and promote a welcoming culture for both new and long-standing team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and mentoring staff across all cluster services
  • Ensuring consistency in care delivery and compliance with organisational policies
  • Reviewing care plans and contributing to service user reviews
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations across the clusters
  • Conducting staff supervisions and encouraging team development
  • Participating in the on-call rota

This role will suit a motivated and flexible individual who is passionate about person-centred care and experienced in staff supervision within a health or social care setting.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a confident and supportive leader with the following attributes:

Qualifications:

  • SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent (or willingness to obtain)
  • PDA in Medication Administration (or willingness to obtain)

Work Experience:

  • Supervisory experience in a care or support setting (Essential)
  • Direct experience in delivering person-centred support (Essential)

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor others
  • Understanding of care planning, risk assessment and medication protocols
  • Confident with IT systems and digital recordkeeping

Personal Qualities:

  • Professional integrity
  • Ability to manage stress,
  • A willingness to develop in your role

Other Requirements:

  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle with business insurance (Essential)
  • Willingness to work flexibly to undertake on-call, weekend, sleepovers, and evening work as needed.
