We are a child-focused residential care provider dedicated to supporting young people aged 8–18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Our Sutton Coldfield home provides a stable, nurturing environment where children can feel safe, valued, and empowered to thrive.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and experienced Team Leader to help lead our passionate care team and support the day-to-day operations of the home.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the home, supporting both staff and children. You’ll lead by example, act as a role model for the team, and maintain the highest standards of care and safeguarding.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, support and mentor a team of residential support workers
• Assist the Registered Manager with staff supervision, rotas, training and development
• Maintain high standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations and individual care plans
• Support children in all aspects of daily life, including education, routines, emotional wellbeing and personal development
• Manage incidents, ensure safeguarding procedures are followed, and contribute to a safe and supportive environment
• Support with audits, reports and liaise with external professionals and agencies
• Take part in shift work including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins (sleep-in allowance paid)
